PREGRA ULTRA TURF is a combination of several man-made, polyethylene resins combined together and then extruded to make a dark to light colored green "grass like" yarn. This mixture of yarns is then tufted (or sewn) to a polypropylene double-layered woven backing and then covered with a heavy-duty polyurethane coating on the back. The product is made to look and feel like real grass. It is extremely durable and resilient and is guaranteed against UV fading and turf deterioration for 8 years. The life expectancy for the average residential lawn is 15 to 20 years.
